Wednesday - Miércoles
Wednesday the 17th, we woke up early, we had a shower and we went fast to breakfast, because at 08:00 we had to take the bus to Zamora. We were 3 hours on the bus, and near 11:00 we arrive to Zamora, there, students of IES Río Duero, were waiting for us. A group of students of SES Pla Marcell, went with Río Duero's students and presented them their english web page. The other group were playing in the recess.
When the first group finally presented their works, the second one went to the I.T. class to present our web pages to the students of Zamora.
It was a good experience, because we meet new people and we saw different ways to work in the english class.
When we finsihed to present our works, we went to a supermarket to buy some thing to eat. We went to a park near the High School and we ate there. We stay there a lot of time and we were talking, playing, etc. with the students of IES Rio Duero.
When we finished, we went in front of the High School. There, the history teacher were waiting for us. We went walking around Zamora while the history teachers told us a bit of history of that city.
It was very interesting. But there was a bad thing. It was very, very, very hot.
We didn't have time to see al the city, because the bus were waiting for us to return to Madrid. At the bus, Jesús asked who wanted to go around Madrid too see different monuments.
Only 11 people wanted to go.
We arrived at the hostel near 20:30, there, we had a shower and we dinner.
Finally, only 8 people wanted to go with Jesús around Madrid.
After we had de dinner, that 8 people go out with Jesús and his friend Antonio, who will be with us in our little trip.
We were walking a lot, we saw, the Gran Via, El Palacio de Oriente, La Almudena, etc.

Returning to the hostel, we saw Carlos Baute! We made a photo with him.
We returned to the hostel at 02:00!

Miércoles 17, nos despertamos temprano, tuvimos una ducha rápida y nos fuimos a desayunar rápidamente, ya que a las 08:00 tuvimos que subir al autobús para ir a Zamora. Estuvimos 3 horas en el autobús, y llegamos cerca de 11:00 a Zamora, allí, los alumnos del IES Río Duero, nos esperaron. Un grupo de estudiantes del SES Pla Marcell, fue con los estudiantes de Río Duero y presentaron su página web de Inglés. El otro grupo estaba jugando en el recreo.
Cuando el primer grupo, acabó de presentar sus trabajos, el segundo grupo fue a la clase de informática para presentar nuestras páginas web a los estudiantes de Zamora.
Fue una buena experiencia, ya que conocimos gente nueva y vimos diferentes formas de trabajar en la clase de Inglés.
Cuandoacabamos de presentar nuestros trabajos, fuimos a un supermercado a comprar algo para comer. Fuimos a un parque cerca del instituto y comimos allí. Nos quedamos allí un montón de tiempo, estuvimos hablando, jugando, etc con los alumnos del IES Río Duero.
Al terminar, fuimos al frente del instituto. Allí, la profesora de historia nos estaba esperando. Fuimos caminando por Zamora, mientras que la profesora de historia nos explicó un poco la historia de esa ciudad.
ue muy interesante. Pero había algo malo. Hacia mucha, mucha, mucha calor.
No tuvimos tiempo para ver toda la ciudad, ya que el autobús nos esperaba para regresar a Madrid. En el autobús, Jesús preguntó quién quería ir por Madrid para ver diferentes monumentos.
Sólo 11 personas querían ir.
Llegamos al albergue cerca de las 20.30 horas, allí, nos duchamos y cenamos.
Por último, sólo 8 personas quería ir con Jesús en torno a Madrid.
Después de la cena, aquellas 8 personas salieron con Jesús y su amigo Antonio, que estuvo con nosotros en nuestro pequeño viaje.
Anduvimos mucho, y vimos la Gran Vía, El Palacio de Oriente, La Almudena, etc
Delante de la Almudena. Una fotógrafa profesional nos tomó una foto, ahora, la estamos esperando!
Volviendo al albergue, nos encontramos con Carlos Baute! Nos hicimos una foto con él.
Regresamos al albergue a las 02:00!

Ending the Trip - Acabando el Viaje
Thursday the 18th, we woke up at 07:00 with the suitcase ready, we had a shower, we ate breakfast and we went walking to National Library Museum. We enter at the Museum at 10:00. It was very interesting, because there were a lot of book's history. There were some different techniques to write and draw too. We exit the National Library Museum soon.
At 11:00, we were on Gran Via. There, we could go freely. We did some shopping and visited new places. At 12:30, we have had to stay with the teachers.
At 13:00 we get our suitcase from the hostel and at 13:30 we get the bus to go Cardedeu.
The way was very long, it takes like 10 hours. We made our first stop to eat something. It was like 16:00. The second stop was near Zaragoza to go to the toilet. And the third stop was near Lleida.
Although there were problems, this has been a great trip that I want to repeat. It has been very interesting and pretty. We have learned a lot of new things. I hope we can all go back together!

Juever 18, nos despertamos a las 07:00 con la maleta preparada, tuvimos una ducha, comimos el desayuno y nos fuimos caminando a la Museo de la Biblioteca Nacional. Entramos en el Museo a las 10:00. Fue muy interesante, porque había una mucha historia sobre los libros. También vimos las diferentes técnicas para escribir y dibujar. Salimos de la Biblioteca Nacional Museo de pronto.
A las 11:00, estábamos en la Gran Via. Allí, pudimos ir libremente. Hicimos algunas compras y visitar nuevos lugares. A las 12:30, tuvimos que encontrarnos con los profesores.
A las 13:00 cojimos nuestra maleta en el albergue a las 13:30 y cogimos el autobús para ir a Cardedeu.
El camino fue muy largo, tardamos como unas 10 horas. Hicimos nuestra primera parada para comer algo a las 16:00. La segunda parada fue cerca de Zaragoza para ir al baño. Y la tercera parada fue cerca de Lleida.
Aunque hubieron pequeños problemas, este ha sido un gran viaje que quiero repetir. Además, ha sido muy interesante y bonito. Hemos aprendido un montón de cosas nuevas. Espero que podamos regresar todos juntos!

Tuesday - Martes
Tuesday, the 16th we woke up at 07:00, we had a shower and at 08:00, we have a breakfast and we went walking to El Senado. Once there, we had time to walk freely around there. We bought some things, food, etc.

We entered on the Senate at 11:00. First we went to the new part. It was very big and very beautiful.
A guide explain to us some interesting things like: Who works there, What things happen there, etc.
Then, we went to the old part, it was very beautiful too, with different design than the new one. There, we recive an unexpected visit, the 1st Vice President of the Senate, Isidr Meolas, was there. He explain us some interesting anecdotes.
The visit was very interesting.
After visiting the Senate, we saw the Real Palace, but we didn't pass in.
We have had some free time to have a lunch. A lot of people ate the typical calamari sandwich.
Then, we went to El Prado's Museum. There, we made 2 groups. One group was that people who wanted to go freely around the museum, but they have had to make a little quest: Find some pictures and describe them.
The other group was the other people, who wanted to go with the teachers. They have had to take notes about the pictures that the teacher explains.
After that, we went to the hostel. We needed to have a shower and go fast to Gran Via. There we dinner on an Italian Restaurant. It was very good food. At 21:00 everybody was in front of the theatre, where we saw a musical: Saturday Night Fever. But there was a problem, we entered like 45 minutes later, and we have had to enter very quietly, to not disturb the other people who was there.
The musical was very beautiful. Everybody like it.
When the musical ended, we went to the hostel and we went to bed early.

Martes 16, nos despertamos a las 07:00, nos duchamos y a las 08:00, desayunamos y nos fuimos caminando para el Senado. Una vez allí, tuvimos tiempo para caminar libremente por los alrededores. Compramos algunos recuerdos, comida, etc
Entramos en el Senado a las 11:00. Primero fuimos a la parte nueva. Era muy grande y muy bonita.
Una guía que nos explicó algunas cosas interesantes como: ¿Quién trabaja allí?, ¿Qué cosas suceden allí?, etc
Luego, fuimos a la parte antigua, era muy bonita también, con diferente diseño de la nueva. Allí, recibimos una inesperada visita, el Vicepresidente 1º del Senado, Isidre Molas, estaba allí. Nos explicó algunas anécdotas interesantes.
La visita fue muy interesante.
Después de visitar el Senado, vimos el Palacio Real, pero no entramos.
Fuimos a la Plaza Mayor, allí tuvimos tiempo libre para comer. Mucha gente se comió el típico Bocadillo de Calamares.
Luego, fuimos al Museo de El Prado. Allí, hicimos 2 grupos. Un grupo fue la gente que quería ir libremente por el museo, pero tuvieron que hacer una pequeña búsqueda: Encontrar algunos cuadros y describirlas.
El otro grupo fue el de las otras personas, los que querían ir con los maestros. Tuvieron que tomar notas acerca de los cuadros que el maestro explicó.
Después de eso, nos fuimos hasta el albergue. Necesitábamos ducharnos e ir rápido a la Gran Via. Allí cenamos en un restaurante italiano. La comida estaba muy buena. A las 21:00 todo el mundo estaba en frente del teatro, donde vimos un musical: Fiebre del sábado noche. Pero había un problema, entramos como 45 minutos más tarde, y tuvimos que entrar muy en silencio, para no molestar a la otra gente que estaba allí.
El musical fue muy chulo. A todo el mundo le gustó.
Cuando terminó el musical, nos fuimos al albergue y nos fuimos a la cama temprano.

Monday - Lunes
Monday the 15th, we woke up at 07:00. We had a shower and at 08:00, we had a breakfast and we went walking to IES Santamarca, in Madrid. IES Santamarca is a provisional High School, because the real institute is in construction. Before entering in the High School, we could walk freely around the High School.
Once we arrive, we went on the High School. Students of IES Santamarca were waiting for us. We went to the main hall of the High School. A bit later, the Students of the IES Rio Duero (Zamora), arrive to the IES.
Then, some students of the three institutes, presented their english work.
It was very good, because we could see the same work we did, but with other prespective.
When we finished the presentations, the students of IES Santamarca invited us to an appetizer.
Was time to eat, and the students of the three institutes went to eat at the Retiro Park.
We stay there a lot of time, some people played, some others sleeped, etc.
It was very good.
We went to Puerta del Sol, there we had to make a photo of us with the statue called El Oso y el Madroño. We had some time freely and we had to go in groups to the Plaza Mayor. There, we were walking to the hostel, where we dinner.
Until 23:00 we could go around the rooms, but at that hour we had to stay in our room. And at midnight we "had to sleep".

Lunes 15, nos despertamos a las 07:00. Nos duchamos y a las 08:00, desayunamos y nos fuimos caminando al IES Santamarca, en Madrid. IES Santamarca es un instituto provisional, debido a que el verdadero instituto está en construcción. Antes de entrar en el instituto, podíamos caminar libremente alrededor del IES.
Una vez que llegamos, fuimos al instituto. Los alumnos del IES Santamarca estaban esperando por nosotros. Fuimos a la sala de actos del instituto. Un poco más tarde, los alumnos del IES Río Duero (Zamora), llegaron al IES.
A continuación, algunos estudiantes de los tres institutos, presentaron sus trabajos de inglés.
Estuvo muy bien, porque pudimos ver el mismo trabajo que hicimos, pero con otra prespectiva.
Al terminar las exposiciones, los alumnos del IES Santamarca nos invitaron a un aperitivo.
Era hora de comer, y los estudiantes de los tres institutos fuimos a comer al Parque del Retiro.
Nos quedamos allí mucho tiempo, algunas personas jugaron, otros durmieron, etc.
Nos lo pasamos muy bien.
Luego fuimos a la Puerta del Sol, allí tuvimos que hacer una foto de nosotros con la estatua de El Oso y el Madroño. Tuvimos algo de tiempo libre y tuvimos que ir en grupos a la Plaza Mayor. Una vez allí, nos pusimos en marcha para volver al albergue, donde cenamos
Hasta las 23:00 podiamos ir por las habitaciones, pero a partir de esa hora teniamos que permanecer en nuestra habitación. Y a medianoche "teníamos que dormir".

Starting the Trip - Empezando el Viaje
Sunday 14th at 15:30, we left Cardedeu. All of us wanted to leave, although there were a lot of hours of travel.
We all wanted to arrive.
At 17:30 - 18:00, we stop near Zaragoza. We stay there 45 minutes, and we dinner.
Was vey hot, but a few hours later, it started a storm.
We were very tired.
At 22:30 - 23:00, we stop at Guadalajara to go to the toilet. We stay there 10 minutes.
We arrive at the hostel at midnight. We were very, very tired.
There, we installed at the rooms, and we had to make the beds!
In the room, we were talking a while. So we went to bed at 03:00 in the morning.

El domingo 14 a las 15:30, salimos de Cardedeu. Todos queríamos salir, aunque habían muchas horas de viaje.
Todos teníamos muchas ganas de llegar.
A las 17:30 - 18:00, paramos cerca de Zaragoza. Nos quedamos allí 45 minutos, y cenamos.
Hacía mucha calor, pero unas horas más tarde, comenzó una tormenta.
Ya estábamos muy cansados.
A las 22:30 - 23:00, nos paramos en Guadalajara para ir al baño. Nos quedamos allí unos 10 minutos.
Llegamos al albergue a medianoche. Estabamos muy, muy cansados.
Allí, nos instalamos en las habitaciones y tuvimos que hacer las camas!
En la habitación, estábamos hablando un tiempo. Así que nos fuimos a la cama a las 03:00 de la mañana.

A las 22:30 - 23:00, nos paramos en Guadalajara para ir al baño. Nos quedamos allí unos 10 minutos.
Llegamos al albergue a medianoche. Estabamos muy, muy cansados.
Allí, nos instalamos en las habitaciones y tuvimos que hacer las camas!
En la habitación, estábamos hablando un tiempo. Así que nos fuimos a la cama a las 03:00 de la mañana.
